I first visited Piedmont Cancer Institute in April of 2022. I had been diagnosed with throat cancer and it had become rather advanced and I was really struggling. On the day of my first appointment my appointed Dr had a family emergency and they were going to postpone my appointment. Then they told me to wait a few minutes and that another Dr was going to see me. That ended up being the amazing Dr Rhee. He had seen a scan of my neck area and the tumor involved and in so many words, he literally saved my life. He is literally a life saver. He and radio oncologist Dr. Kahn teamed up on me and pulled me back from the brink of death. It wasn't fun. In fact it was utterly brutal on me. There were a few times there where I almost succumbed but they stayed on top of me and got me thru. I just saw Dr Rhee yesterday and he told me that I am cured from the cancer I was battling. I didn't even really know how to thank him. What is amazing to us is everyday work for him. The ability to diagnose a nearly terminal illness amd remediate it. Unbelievable. Thank you Dr Rhee and Dr Kahn and everyone at Piedmont Cancer Institute who helped me. Everyone there was great. Thank you!

Appointment is always on time. Very professional staff in the office. Dr Rhee is a consummate professional who reviews and explains everything in terms you can understand. I have never left an appointment with anything but total satisfaction!

Dr Jay Rhee is very professional, calm, listens to your concerns and does his homework before seeing you. He does not recommend unnecessary procedures and is totally focused on your personal history and treatment plan.
