Coping with Cancer - Support For All Battling Cancer
It helps to talk. A cancer diagnosis creates a sense of helplessness, anxiety and stress. Support groups are a way to talk about what you are experiencing and make meaningful connections with other who understand.
Meet with other individuals who are dealing with a cancer diagnosis and talk through the stresses of cancer to help manage the challenges they face. The Coping with Cancer group is facilitated by Stacie Nevins, LCSW.
In this group, participants will:
- share feelings and concerns for emotional support
- mediate ability to cope with stress
- foster hope and resilience
- benefit from sharing feelings and personal experience to help the feelings of loneliness
