On-site Lab Services
In our continued dedication to value-based care, we have a laboratory conveniently located in each of our offices. For patients, an appointment with an oncologist can be daunting and stressful. To alleviate some of the stress, we offer onsite lab testing where patients can meet with their physician and get bloodwork done in a matter of minutes allowing for a more convenient and positive patient experience where important treatment decisions can be made on the spot.
Lab Services Provided
Onsite Processing of CBC
A complete blood count (CBC) is a blood test. It's used to look at overall health and find a wide range of conditions, including anemia, infection, and leukemia. The test is especially critical in oncology, where cell counts can help guide important and time-sensitive treatment decisions, including whether to start or stop chemotherapy, identify if a patient needs a blood transfusion, or to make sure a patient's bone marrow is functioning properly.
Urinalysis
Information from urine helps doctors decide if other tests or procedures are needed to make a diagnosis. The information may also help your doctor develop or revise treatment plans.
PT/INR Testing
A prothrombin time (PT) is a test used to help detect and diagnose a bleeding disorder or excessive clotting disorders; the international normalized ratio (INR) is calculated from a PT result and is used to monitor how well the blood-thinning medication is working.
Hemoccult
Hemoccult tests determine if any blood can be found in stool.
Next Day Turnaround
We also have next day turnaround for other common lab testing.
